Clown
Goldie the clown Ellie here but Daddy's typing.
On Sunday we went to a theme park called Dreamworld. The first ride that we went on was called runaway reptar. It was orange and green, your legs hangout the bottom. It wasn't very fast and a bit rickety but we liked it. Aisha went on the Dora the explorer seaplanes cos she doesn't like rollercoasters.
We then went to Tiger Island. They have got some Benal tigers. We saw the show that included the keepers throwing meat around to get the tigers to do certain things. said that these are normal behaviour for the tigers.
We then went on Mick Doohan's moto coaster. This is a roller coaster that is supposed to be like riding a motor bike. Daddy and I went on first on the bikes. Then Daddy went on with Aisha and she went on the side car. Mummy wouldn't go on cos it meant she ahd to take her glasses off.
We then went on the Thunder river rapids ride. We went on with two other people and they didn't get wet but mummy and daddy did. Ha ha.
Then we went on the Rocky Hollow log ride. I wanted to get
Surfing
Me surfing wet so went at the front. Mummy sat behind me then Aisa and daddy at the back. There was one giant slide and I thought that I was gonna get really, really, really, really wet. But poor daddy got soaked. He took off his t-shirt to wring it out.
Then we went to the wildlife experience. Aisha and I got to stroke some kangaroo's and we got a photo of all of us with a koala called lelly. I got to hold it and she was heavy and hurt my arm. She was soft and cuddly and smelt nice. Aisha got to cuddle it but she was not tall enough to hold her.
We went on the old cars. Aisa got to drinve and I sat in the front with her. Mummy and daddy sat in the back being babies and really annoying by shouting are we there yet a lot and squabling. They thought it was funny but it was just silly. We grounded them for being naughty.
When we left daddy bought some tickets for the next day because they were only $10 each if we bought them before leaving. I had to sign my name on the ticket.
Crock
Aisha and I stroking a 1 year old croc When we got back mummy wasn't hungry so we went out with auntie Nikki and had sushi. It was called sushi train cos there is a train going round with the sushi on and you take off what you want. I had four plates and it was yummy then I had some jelly for afters.
On Monday morning we drove back to the theme park.
The first thing we went on was the Runaway Rapta roller coaster. Everyone went on. Mummy even took off her glasses so she could have a go. We seemed to get in the queue at the right time cos we got to sit at the front.
Mummy and I then went on the tower of terror. Daddy couldn't go cos he had to look after Aisha. Daddy is a scaredy cat cos he wouldn't go on. You sit in a big car and you are strappd in. I had sweaty palms so couldn't hold on to anything. It fires you out of a big hole in a straight line then you go up a big pole about 100 metres. Then you sit there for a second or two and come racing back down backwards to
the start. It was really funny for me and mummy because we were sat at the back. Russ here - it went at 155kph and Chloe couldn't speak after getting off cos she had been screaming so much. Ellie was like a rabbid dog and bouncing all over the place saying wanna go again, wanna go again.
Ellie here again.
We then went to see the crocodile show where we saw the crocs jumping up for the food.
Aisha and I got to stroke two small crocs one was a year old and the other was nearly three. Then we had a slushie and an owl was bought out. It was cool and daddy took my picture with it.
Daddy and I then went on the Vortex. It is a big spinny rouny thing that makes you stick to the walls. Daddy was hanging upside down, I couldn't get that far so was sideways.
Then Mummy and I went on the wipeout. It is a ride that makes you go upside down on a platform between two big surfboards. When you hang upside down it is really funny. We thought it was really cool.
Then we went on a ride
called the reef diver. Aisha chose it. You sit in a submarine and it goes round and round then an arm comes out of the ground and makes it go upright. Aisha didn't like it even though she picked it. We then had to go on the swing chairs to make Aisha happy.
We then wanted to get wet again so had a go on the thunder river rapids ride. We only got slightly wet this time.
After that Mummy and daddy wanted to go on the claw. Aisha and I wouldn't go on it so we waited whilst they had a go.
Russ here - Very scary but was loads of fun. Its a big swinging arm with a rotating bit on the end. It goes over 180 degrees and the part you are sat on rotates at the same time. You over take your stomach on the way down then catch it up on the way back. Hanging upside down looking straight at the ground 60 metres in the air is quite disconcerting. Chloe loved it but then she had to take her glasses off so couldn't see a thing.
The last ride of the day was the
Koala
A real koala in a tree Cyclone, which is the biggest roller coaster there. We all went on it, we convinced Aisha that there was no upside downy bit. Although there was two loop the loops.
When we were leaving we saw Dora the explorer so had our photo's taken with her.
We really enjoyed ourselves and want to go to the water park that is next door when we come back at christmas.
