Last week, in honor of the Easter holidays, the university closed from Good Friday (21 March) until the following Sunday (30 March), to celebrate Easter and mid semester break. We had to drive our 4WD onto a ferry which took us from the Sunshine Coast to Fraser Island

In the early 1900's, this boat was on its way to Japan, when a cyclone hit Fraser Island and the boat crashed on shore. Its wreckage has remained unmoved and untouched (it's very rusted metal of course)

After all the hiking we did, we cooled off at Eli Creek, a freshwater creek that opens up into the ocean
