We are now touring

Here we are now touring. We are not on holiday, our guide said, but touring which means cases outside our room at 7am and on the coach by 8am. We are all having early nights - it's very tiring this touring.
Margaret managed to lose a filling on a toffee yesterday which meant a hairy taxi ride through Brisbane to find an 'out of hours dentist'. No more toffees for her.
We are now on Fraser Island and have managed to arrange ourselves a free morning to wander about which is very pleasant. We are taking a 4WD ride this pm all round the island and then a beach b-b-q tonight.
Yesterday we went to the Australian Zoo , Steve Irwine's establishment. It absolutley poured of rain and we all tramped round in plastic macs. The group we are with are very friendly and have a good sense of humour which is just as well considering the weather. We have hopes foir some sun tomorrow.
