The trip to Fraser Island.
The Journey started early, like all the tours!!! Iv'e been getting up early you guys not just sleeping all day!
Anyway we headed to Fraser and what would be the journey from hell quite literally, sitting in the back of a fwd drive truck knees bent, bottoms were very sore. it took only four hours! We were expecting to relax on a coach up to Rainbow beach with the tour company, sadly it wasn't to be.
So eventually we got to fraser, Fraser is a stunning sand Island, infact the largest Sand Island in the world. We started the afternoon by venturing on a hike of a sand desert. For a moment it felt like we'd entered the Sahara, beautiful white glistening sand awaited us as we crossed the 2k walk. At the end I was sure I was seeing a mirage of water!!!!!!!!!!!
In fact it was Lake Wabby! A green fresh water lake, absolutely stunning and heavenly in 30 degree heat.
We also went to Elley Lake and the Mckenzie lake ....to be concluded!
