Made is to Cape Tribulation - stunning rainforest, including LOTS of rain to keep it thriving. Staying in a beautiful resort here, elegant room with natural wood, some curtains, some not.
Saw some clear break this morning so went for a decent walk - no crocs yet.
A cassowary walked through the parking lot!

Cape Tribulation
Hey Steve and Ann, nice to hear about your travels here briefly. Now being at Cape Tribulation, Steve, did you ever get your hands on a copy of that book, Naked in Eden since it is based in Daintree rainforest there? Just curious since your location sparks lots of ideas in my head from the book, would love to hear if it is similar still 20yrs later.... Have fun and exciting adventures there!
