We are still in Cairns and it is slowly killing me. Cairns is a very nice city there's just not a whole lot to do. There is an ocean but it is not swimmable because the water resembles diarrhrea.... its actually very gross and there isnt sand only mud. We wish we could leave but we cant because we applied online for a tax file number. ( 47% of whatever you make is taxed if you do not have a tax file number) we cant leave untill we get this in the mail. We also set up bank accounts but we already recieved our cards in the mail. I cant wait till we can move on from here to see better parts of Australia.

Cody and i went on a 2 night 3 day trip to Cape Tribulation. Cape Tribulation is a rain forest. On the drive up we went to a wildlife place that had Cassawaries ( big ostrich like birds that have a huge hard thing sticking out of their heads) lots of talking birds some snakes and gliding squrelles. Then we went to a look out point to snap some photos. We also went on a guided rainforest walk, so now i know all about how the aboriginals lived. then we were dropped at our home for the next 2 days..... a farm!!!! It was a mangosteen farm. Mangosteens are about the size of kiwis and taste kinda like rubarb. Cody and I decided to leave the farm to go on our own adventure through the rainforest and take a little walk along the beach. when we woke up the next morning it was pouring rain. that was ok with me i knew we would find a way to amuse ourselves, cody on the other hand was going crazy. i am starting to think he has ADD, he cant sit still for more than 30 seconds. So i asked if there was any farm work we could do, for his sake. 10 minutes later we were picking fruit. haha i guess it was kinda fun, however we didnt have rain jackets so we got very wet and we were also in flip flops. I didnt like the spiders! oh we were also givin 6 dollars for our work. we didnt expect to get anythign out of it because we were volunteering. On the way home we went to a croc infested river. we all got onto a boat and went searching for man eating crocs. I got some good picks. we also saw a snake up a tree. After the river we went to Mossman Gorge. you were allowed to go swimming if you wantted to, we didnt. All n all the trip was fun and it was also nice to get away from cairns for a couple days.

The weather here could be better. Its really hot just no sun pretty much overcast every day. my tan is fading. we hear it is less rainy in the south so thats were we are going. as soon as we get our tax file number.

we also bought a cell phone and all incomming calls are free for us but not for you!!! here is our number 01161406725852 or 001161406725852 or 0011610406725852 call anytime!!

Thats all for now
take care
