CAIRNS Colorful Cairns. Whether it was the fish and coral in the Great Barrier Reef, the flowers, the stained glass panels of St. Monica's Cathedral, the food, gelato or the characters we met, Cairns was colorful. Great photos! I especially like the underwater ones and stained glass. Like you said, the colors are very vibrant. Sounds like things are going well -- except for the sunburn. Thanks for keeping us updated. Too bad you only have a month left....

Simply beautiful. I love all the underwater pictures. The colors are so rich in all the plant life as well. Looks like the place has quite the tropical element to it. And you've met some true Aboriginals and as odd as it was it had to be a great glimpse into another life. The waterfalls look breathtaking and the images depicted in the glass are very cool. Adding another place to my list of where to get to. I also got the postcard from Bangkok, that was very cool, thanks so much! Love the updates, keep them coming.
