Wandering the streets of cairns

Well, not much to report really!

Had to check out of the hostel at 9am, so we threw all our clothes into the washing and hit the internet for a couple of hours updating the blogs and trying to book somewhere for new year.

After that we treated ourselves to a mini sunbathing session at the lagoon and bumped into Jackie again who was also trying to will away the time until her flight!

At 7pm we went for our free backpacker meal at a bar (quite tasty actually) then hung around the hostel like bad smells until midnight when it was time for our coach.

What a funfilled day eh! It's no good being homeless!
