Today was our second day in the classroom and pool fine tuning our ‘skills’ before we head out to sea.

Again, nothing really to report, but we did complete our exam with 100% so both feel very good about the days ahead.

The evening was spent attending a talk called ‘Reef Teach’ by an Irish guy called Paddy (!) which educated people on the type of coral and wild life that can be found at the Great Barrier Reef. He’s a mad man, certainly making it as interesting as possible so that no one falls asleep! He has worked in the area for some 30 years and so is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the reef and was great to fire questions at too.

Another early night to bed as we are to be picked up at 06.00am tomorrow! (This is getting increasingly harder and harder!)
