aug 13 afternoon race from cyc. sunny breezy and flat water in river. perfect. club building soon to be demoloished.
aug 14 more fab weather. first real spruik in six weeks. has the passion returned?! double-eyed fig parrots and buff-banded rail. met couple from willimstown who got sticker there.
aug 22 oops, week gone. today up to lake morris above cairns for birding. curvy sixteen kms road. beautiful. many seen, some identified, some not. delaying departure for perth. too cold still. future flexible.
