Wow!
Australia zoo is reallly beautiful. Its set in gorgeous tropical parklands, the animals have huge enclosures set up as naturally as possible, its just really nice!
I got to hug a koala and play with some echidna- they're so strange, i love them! Spikey marsupials with beaks...and a really long lizardlike tongue! I got to feed them too! Also fed an elephant. It was pretty amazing!

Australia zoo is so huge that to see everything properly, i would have to go back another day! I was trying to fit in the shows and the photo opportunities whilst working out the map!

It's a really special place though, its sums up what a really special man Steve Irwin was. Its just beautiful!
Its not even full of tacky merchandise stuff, which i was really surprised at! I mean- it is there...but its not in your face!

I loved it.
