S 19. Tremendous results with yachties at WSC dingy dock. Flags on boats Airlie Harbour. Then parked up other side of town top spruik and binocs seeing four boats with our flag. Bloke came past and got one for his boat in foreground. Very satisfying. When we get more than red/blue ensign we win! Also long chat with Jess message therapist green eyes. Very nice.
S 20. More burgees out. Counted fleet flags. Crossraang 4, Blue ensign 4, red ensign 2, Eureka 2, Quarentine yellow, Western Bulldogs, Skull and crossbones 2. (El Misti doubleender cat, Flamingo tri). Jess tells me of Wintermoon festival next weekend Calen, Cameron Pocket just south of Proserpine. Met bloke who got large flag in Nimbin. Told him to fly from boat. Will do count tomorrow. We're close to winning. Went over to Able marina two more burgees for B/C dock (Vamos cat, Song large sloop, Suma doubleender) making 3 plus powerboat flies when he's around. Back to YC for barby. Cloudy warm and humid. Much chatter in trees. Awaiting full moon festival. Tickets to Cairo, Florida and Fiji paid. Mom's 90th. She'll still beat me at bridge.
S 21. Somebody stop me!
S 22. More burgee mania. Moored and berthed. White chested woodswallow pairs nesting. Biplane antics buzz. Camel train of tourists on beach. Morning spruik sucessful. Lunch and relax enjoying view flag studded fleet. Shady day due to light cloud cover. Moisture in the air and clothes. Geelong Collingwood epic. Cats by 5! (last night). Fiji looms in future. Jan 3-16. Beijing Olympics 08 northern summer sounds tempting.
