1770 - The only town to have a number for its name. We dropped our bags and headed out to find somewhere to eat. First impression very quiet!

We knew this was going to be a chilled out stop over and as I was happy to relax Rob booked himself in for his level 1 kite surfing trip. We went down onto the beach and watched the world go by.

As we are due to catch our first night bus we thought we should have a relaxing but busy day in order to try and sleep throughout the journey. We started by going on the free tour set up by the hostel. It was here we discovered why 1770 is so quiet - it costs 2.5 million AUD to buy a plot of land! The houses which are built here are used mainly as holiday homes!
9.10pm - 7am = the night bus - this was an experience we managed about 3 hours sleep each. Each time the bus stopped to change drivers all the lights went on. At about 2am it started to pour down!
