Arriving at Kuniya, students prepared themselves for filming and singing WONDER in a new and very special location. With a short track walk to Mutitjulu waterhole, home of a wanampi (an ancestral watersnake) the filming took a new breath of life in a number of unique locations. Here the students learned how Kuniya and Liru (the woma python woman and poisonous snake man) helped create Uluru. It was evident from our time here that this place is is a living cultural landscape. Kuniya is still here. Her spirit is here. The art caves are still used by Anangu today. This certainly was a special place in which to be filming.
