We liked the congested and touristy Cairns (I mean, who doesn't enjoy ice cream parlours and beach front cafes!!) but we were after something a bit more remoat so we drove further north to Cape Tribulation, another East coast place named by Captain Cook (his ship The Endeavour got stuck on the reef here for over 1 month hence the negative title!). Dee and Holly

Hiya, we are Dee and Holly from Northampton, England. We left home on 1st October 2009 to see the world and were away for 447 days in total. Our journey started in India, Nepal and Hong Kong then SE Asia then Australia and New Zealand and South America . We were home for Christmas 2010.
