Day 2: We were up early on our second day in the Outback, around 6:30am. It’s nice to get up in the Outback before the sun rises, because as soon as it does, the millions and millions of flies swarm around you. Being a couple, we were required to take a few romantic shots with Uluru. lol

It doesn't seem like Uluru will be turning bright red-orange anytime soon.

Eventually it did start to rain. It even became a thunderstorm!

In other words, we got the rare treat of seeing lightning and Uluru in the same shot! No lightning hit Uluru though. Shame. lol
