Katherine has some thermal springs which are fantastic to float around in. If you have ever seen the movie Cocoon then you can imagine the seen that was playing out before me. A group of 20 grey nomads all sprawled out in the water, giggling and splashing around like kids, I was just waiting for the alien pods to appear. The next morning we took a sunrise cruise up Katherine Gorge, Reuben beat Matilda champion croc spotter to find the first and only croc we saw, Matilda to busy eating breakfast to spot it.
