My pockets are leaking cash!

Well another day, another 40 degrees heat, another amazing afternoon thunderstorm and another 80% humidity (Sigh!) 😞

Well the bad news is my Acer Laptop is knackered. It needs a new motherboard at $900 so have bitten the bullet and bought a new Compaq one $1100 (double the spec) - oops forgot its Aussie set up so has no pound signs and the keys are a bit backwards - but then thats most of Australia for you.

Also spent $260 having a man come out to fit a new front windscreen in Sheila as she took a chip off the road and with the tremendous heat causing the air to expand in the car the chip had spread into a 2 foot crack down the passengers window so thought best to replace it ahead of our journey to Alice Springs and Ayers Rock next week so I am now broke (ish) 😉

Film was good the other day although if not a little long 2 3/4 hours but we endured it thanks to air conditioning - which rocks!

Anyhow, is late now, my eyes are dry from the fans blowing on them so will get some shut eye and probably write some more tomorrow (with piccies too).... 😊 I promise
