It's a public holiday weekend and so we headed for the NSW coast about 3 hours from Canberra to try scuba diving at Ulladulla, stay by the sea at Mollymook and climb Pigeon House Mountain.

Scuba diving was a little hair-raising due to high winds and 'Perfect Storm' size waves. Not to be deterred (yet), we bravely stepped off the back of the boat being thrown around in high seas with all our gear on. This is where Sandra's bravery ran out, so she bobbed around on the boat hanging on for dear life for a while longer. Simon was much braver - and was rewarded by hand-feeding a Blue Groper under the waves of Ulladulla Bay.

The next day we climbed Pigeon House Mountain - lots of up-hill, beautiful spring wildflowers, some quite scary ladders up the cliff face towards the top and fantastic views from the summit!
