Arrived in Port Macquerie tonight after a long trek down the pacific highway from Byron bay/ lennox head, spent the
previous night in torrential rains in the bina burra mountains in a safari tent , just happened to work out like that, pouring with rain most of day , electrical storms to boot so thought lets go camping, well not quite a tent tent, had proper
beds and things , forget name of place, will come to me again..
worked out quite well though as storms werent as bad as predicted and was nice next day for a while before the
torrents of rain started again , nice for change from suffocating heat, well not quite , apparently v mild for this time of
year, a bit of luck there, any hotter and not sure how one would get about !
Arrived then in Byron bay for little while before heading off to lennox head to stay in yha there, handy for beach
so had a swim in morning before got too hot , very wavy seas , very dangerous apparently a lot of them due to undercurrents, the first beach we saw there was a man standing in the middle of the waves with a sign saying danger
, took a photo , might be an award winner, hard to tell....

Anyway here we are , had a takeaway pizza when we arrived down at beach , pitch dark though but still busy
, not sure yet what plan is for tmrw yet, up early no doubt , possibly make it to blue mountains tmrw , will see
how cookie crumbles

Will have to perfect the blogging and fill in some of the many missing bits but thought best get going , didnt get much of
a chance at all this past while,
anyway keep you posted,
