So since I have been MIA for a while, I have a lot to catch you up on! The past 2 months have been filled with adventures.

To Start: The big road trip! We started on Dec 28th, and were on the road until February 2nd Since it was such a long trip, I’ll tell you about the highlights and some pictures from the first half, through New South Wales and continue with the rest of it in another post!

So here goes, the most exciting events of our trip

- Sleeping in a really dingy motel on our first night because all the campsites were full
- Setting our tent up for the first night (of camping) at the bottom of a hill : it rained ALL night long, and we woke up to a nice waterbed in the morning!
- Meeting some ‘bogans’ (Australian word for hick) and spending New years with them! They took good care of us, feeding us some bannic bread, fresh caught shark, and donating us a small gas camping stove! Little did we know at the time, that the stove would come in very handy in our later days!

This Goanna lived beside our campsite we stayed in for a few days! Here he is catching some food our neighbor threw to him
running over a curb and popping the front tire
- Camping with kangaroo’s and having them eat out of our hands
- Walking on many beautiful beaches and cliff top hikes
- Sleeping in the car because yet again we left getting a campsite to the last minute!

To be continued with Road trip part 2 soon!

Camping is such fun
Well hello again. Nice to see you are still enjoying your travels. As usual your pictures are fabulous. I feel like such an untravelled hick now! How much longer do you have off school? Looking forward to more of your photos. Just so I can drool as I look out over the slushy snow Love A. Sandi
