We set up in a spot which was across the road from the park and beach.
Steve and I, and our friends Robert and Tracy, had the weekend off work so we hitched up the vans and took them down to a local van park at Patonga Beach. It is about a 40minute drive from our place. Patonga is a lovely quiet spot. The caravan park has a beach and a lagoon frontage. We enjoyed a quiet afternoon on Saturday, sitting on the beach and watching the boats and a seaplane. On Saturday night we were joined by a few friends for a barbeque dinner which was lovely. On Sunday, the weather was perfect, and we went for a long walk and found a little hidden beach around the headland. There was a Ford Vintage Car Display at the caravan park on Sunday. The caravan park is also home to a zillion ducks!!
