Amazing
They really are sooooooo cute. Hi everyone
Its been a while since i have done a blog entry, Mart is the Blog hogger!!! So we are now making our way up the coast and we are not far from Brisbaine. The weather has been beautiful the last week and so it has made things even better for us. Not tooo hot. Gosh i cannot remember where we left off on the last Blog. Well since we have been south we have been west of sydney to the blue mountains. It was lovely there. A little bit chilly but it was so nice. We saw all the wonderful views and watched the sun come up from over the mountains tops. The pics explain what it was like really. There were lots of lovely look outs and some great scenery and waterfalls. On the way back down, went to a koala santuary. ooohhhhh they are so cute. Just sat up in a tree alsleep. we got to cuddle them and just watch them really. it was a nice little wildlife park which had all sorts of animals running around. We fed the Kangaroos. As you can see by the video, mart always likes to have a laugh.
They were eating cheerios from our hands. gentle creatures, but i do not think i want a kick in the face from there big feet.!!! It was really early when we hit the santuary, so there were hardly any people there, and we saw the Koala's, Kanga's, penguine feeding and sheep sheerring. It was a nice little park.
So after a nice morning there we headed on to Newcastle, the next town up from Sydney. Not much there, so off we went after a good sleep, to a little spot called cresent heads. This is where all the long boarders go surfing. It was so perfect for us there, we stayed on the beachfront with the sun setting and the warm breeze. It was well nice. me and mart went out and did a bit of surfing. well me on the body board that came free with the van. I am still a wimp in the water as i think i can hear jaws music everytime i go in there. Even though the water is like what is was like in Phi Phi, so clear and warm. it is definatley getting warmer as we go up the coast. I
will get over the shark thing when i leave this country. Mart has strict rules he has to obey when he goes out surfing, he is only allowed out when other surfers are, and also he is not allowed to be the deepest out. Jackie i know you would like these rules too.!! I sit there like shark watch. ha ha!
Oh i tell you what we had an awesome experience the other day. We were at the Booti booti national park, and we were at seal rocks, a little place that was like paradise. We just walked up to the lighthouse to see the views over the bays and on the way down, mart said" what is that big thing jumping out of the water" so i looked and said "where" while doo na do na do na was going along in my mind (that is supposed to be the jaws music) But the next thing we saw was a dolphin jumping around, then we saw three more in the end there must have been a colony of about 20, right near the sure. we jumped out of the van a took pics and videoed it, but we
just wanted to watch them. we were well impressed to see them on the off chance, class. Laura you would have been in dolphin heaven!
So travells are good, we are driving for about 1.5-2.0 hours a day and then it gives us time to go to the beach or go for a walk or just do something. We are sorry we are boring you all but this is all we do. We just take it all in and sit and have dinner at a nice spot sit and have tea as the sun goes down. all good.
Well enjoy the pics and we will let you know what byron bay is like and also surfers paradise. maybe i will get some pics of half naked people as there are a few nude beaches up this coast. keep all you lads happy. Although the people on these beaches are usually 60 and over. uuugggghhh.
well g-day and see-yas
