Just as we were driving on.
As the tourist pamphlet says ‘A hard name to say but a great place to stay’. Came about 100 Km south today via a tourist route to Grafton. This includes a ferry across the river which is no charge, just part of the road. Missed some photo opportunities such as getting straight on the ferry so no chance to take a photo of it and then nowhere to stop on the other side. Just past that there were hundreds of biggish birds (possibly some kind of heron) perched in trees by the river and then a sign for Short Street with a pair of shorts hanging under it both with nowhere to stop. Some light rain this morning but warm and sunny later. -->

Yet another lovely sea side place. Seems like a good spot for a couple of days.
