Oura Beach Reserve

28TH September 2012,

It stormed and blew strong wind all last night and into the morning. Not a great today. Spent most of day watching movies and playing UNO. I guess it's like being house bound. The campgrounds are desserted with most people choosing to depart. We are leaving after breakfast tomorrow and spending Alyssa's birthday with her best friend Grace at their home in Wagga Wagga. Daniel set Yabbie traps last night and finally bought me a fishing rod (no luck catching anything yet, but I just like the act of fishing). Spent the night sitting by the fire, enjoying the stars (luckily the rain stopped and the wind eased in the evening).

It was good to see that the tents and awnings stood up to the extreme weather. (We feel like real campers now!!!!)
