Am in Sydney staying with my godparents and enjoying a bit of luxury after spending the last 6 days sleeping in a tent, back of a 4WD, on a bus or on a tiny bunk on a boat.

Yesterday we flew to Canberra for the day to see what the Aussie capital city has to offer. Answer - NOT A LOT! Saw Parliament and the War Memorial, but it is literally a ghost town and has a town centre the size of Woking - no joke!

Spent today in Sydney wandering around the usual sights - Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Bondi beach etc. Have been twice before so just enjoyed soaking in the sun with nice views and enjoying fine dining with my godparents at various celebrity chef restaurants and shopping at little boutiques on Oxford Street....am hardly roughing it yet!

Have no photos, since my camera was in the shop so was wandering around taking photos with my disposable underwater camera - looked so budget! But hey, you all know what Sydney looks like anyway....
