The zoo was a great place to see many of the native animals of Australia.

There were sooooo many Irwin family gifts and memorabilia in the shops. You can own your own Steve Irwin or Terri Irwin wig...

One of my favorite things about Steve's Zoo is the fact that it strives to teach conservation through "exciting education". The philosophy is contagious. I have a new passion for the Bengal Tiger. It's possible that by the year 2020 that the Tiger will be extinct in the wild.

The Aus Zoo is a great place to get familiar with animals specifically from Australia. I loved how interactive the staff was with visitors as well as the animals. We saw wombats and dingoes out for walks throughout the day.
