Not much to report today. Pretty much a travelling day. After a supermarket bought breakfast (avoiding the $45 a head breakfast buffet) we headed off to the airport. The resort runs a transfer service which means that pretty much everyone gets there at the same time. Shame there were no check in staff on the same bus!! Eventually one turned up covering the three queues. Obviously priority check in went first. Followed by check in and bag drop taking it in turns. Ian obviously scored this 1/10.

However not much to do at Ayers Rock airport so we didn't miss much. Only 3 flights out that day. All from gate 1!

Flight was good but a smaller plane so no inflight movie this time. Once in Sydney we taxied to our apartment. We have booked apartments occasionally throughout the trip to get the washing done. So first job. Work the machine. Bleeding top loader!

Once washing sorted and airer acquired from housekeeping we headed out, first to the supermarket for breakfast supplies and then for dinner. We are staying this time in Haymarket. This is Sydney's Chinatown and boy is it!!!! It is also backpacker area so a couple of middle aged Brits did seem to stick out a bit. But thanks to trip advisor we found a fab Malaysian restaurant called mamak. Made its own fresh roti (in the window so you could watch as you queued up to get in).

On the way back I did need to stop Ian trying to drag me into Scruffy Murphy's for their drag karaoke night! Call me a snob?!

Finally back to the apartment for blog posting and email checking while we have free wifi.
