sydney + home

now being seasoned round the globe flight travellers, we sprung from the plane + were met by laurens dad greg + her sister hannah. we had a whole bunch of fun with greg, maria, hannah + shelly. we all went to the footy to see the bunnies beat the bulldogs + later we saw the sea eagles thrash the storm on the hallowed brookvale turf – i got in for free as someone standing near the gate handed me a ticket! we also went aqua golfing, go-karting + greg taught us to fish like a pro.



we then boarded the plane for home + soon were greeted by the smiling launcestonian mckinnons, the now eloquently speaking will, the evermore beautiful rosa, nick, robyn, sue + jeff. we went back to the mckinnon ranch for lunch + good stories, laughter + food in the belly. in the late evening we eventually got home.. or at least back to the bounding across the street little ginger psyche (our cat) who was most pleased to see us! we caught up with all the goss in the neighbourhood first from grey + tash, + then later from pete. we were back..



with stories of adventure.. we now could be more than just pretending to care when ppl talked about their overseas travels. we now had some measure to base where we were in relation to everything else. we were now internationalists both in spirit + in practice.
