31st December 2010: We've seen it on the TV, but have never witnessed the thrill of ringing in the New Year at the perfect spot on Sydney Harbour watching the stunning fireworks with the Opera House and Harbour Bridge creating an incredible iconic backdrop. We are travelling the world for 7 1/2 months, starting in Bangkok - North Thailand - Cambodia, Vietnam, South Thailand - Penang. From Here we are flying to Kuching in Borneo, then on to Kota Kinabalu and then flying out of Sandakan to Kuala Lumpur for Christmas, then we head to Singapore for a couple of days. We fly into Sydney for New Year and then travel around South, West and Eastern Australia. Next stop from Sydney is Christchurch overland to Auckland then Fiji and West Coast America.
