Edit Blog Post

This is essentially where this blog started, Sydney.
Monday 12. Balloons over Canberra. What fun. Time to go. Bateman's Bay at the bottom. Warmth again.
Tuesday 18. Spruiking Ulladulla. Beach extascy. Inspiration. Wrote four more words to "National Anthem". That's two years. Six months per word.
Rainbow lorikeet, frillneck lizard.
Eucalyptus, Huon pine
Now must focus on geography. Maybe-
Snowy River, Styx forrest.
Gibson dessert, Lake Eyre.
Wednesday. Ulladella. Hard slog in real world. Poor response. Hassles.
Thursday. Jervis Bay. Beach. Swim. "Nowra News" interview for article. Feelings of anxiety and doubt. Coming down from the folk festival high. Sydney looms. I had such success there but it was damn hard work.
Friday. Feeling better. Realise I forgot to mention the fantastic birds of Jervis Bay. Two great eagles and their nest in the national park. At Hyam's Beach, a pair of galah's at their nest in a hole in a treee. Their colours seemed reversed to the pink and grey ones in Perth. Also, a glimpse of two red-bodied parrotts (?) with three short light blue stripes on their underwing. Great emblem for RAAF flag. My visit to the naval headquarters has started me thinking about replacing the flags of the services - variations on "SC&B". Black cocatoos in Nowra. Drove to Kiama. Police threatened arrest. On to Wollongong. Guard said get off mall. Leaving town stopped at house with Eureka flag flying. They got a flag for their flagpole!!!!! Cool winds and fluffy clouds WSW.
Saturday 22 April. North through lush forrest. Turned off at Cronulla. Felt to go there. Independent film maker took footage of me for short film on Aussie life. Spoke to cafe owner about "riots".
