I have never been to a bigger concert there were 40,000 concert goers, 6 stages, and 30 bands. The place was throbbing sea of people, but it was all surprisingly civilized. There was a sign at every stage that said 'No Moshing, No Crwod Surfing" and for the most part those rules were adhered to. We didn't arrive until 5 pm which was just fine I think if we would have showed up at 11 am we would have been leaving by 5, sunburnt and miserable as we had noticed some of the poor saps crawling our of there. It was not a day to forget your sunscreen or to not stay hydrated. We immediatly got some water, they had free places to fill your bottles and mnay food and ice cream stands which all had huge lines except curiously for the quesadilla line (hmmm).
