Had a look around Darling Harbour, watched a didjeridoo show at the Outback Centre, bought a boomerang (how cliche). Didjeridoo's are the termite-hollowed branches of eucalyptus trees with beeswax for a mouth piece, requiring circular breathing and buzzing lips to play. The sounds are basically spoken words and animal noises distorted by the instrument. Browsed some shops, walked over to the Opera House for some sunny photos, lost Louisa in the Botanical gardens, found her again at the hostel.
