Like the CN tower, it also has a revolving restaurant at the top.
Our third weekend here in Sydney. This weekend we toured around Sydney - Sydney Chinatown, more CBD, Paddington, Bondi Beach.

Visiting Sydney on the weekend is very different. Weekend markets are very popular here - fashion and jewelries by local designers, arts and paintings, etc.

We also visited the Hyde Barracks Museum. This building is once home to many prisoners, old but well-maintained. Knowing a little bit about the convict history of Australia, we went in with a high expectations. To our great disappointment, the museum was full of only rusted cutlery, names of prisoners, and clothes... Later, we found out that pretty much every city has a museum about the convicts, haha.. what else is there about Australian history?

Chinatown here is quite different - no rotten vegetables on the ground, no fake purses.. in fact, there is really not much. Wonton noodle here is $9.5 per bowl, Dragon candy is $2 a PIECE, Beef jerky is $4 each slice (with the size of a rectangular CD cover). Who says things are expensive in Vancouver? Awww.. i miss home!

Finally, on a warm breezy Saturday afternoon, we went to Paddington market and the most famous Bondi Beach! Once again, like Manly Beach, this is such a surfing paradise! Big waves, warm water and golden sand. The Sun here is really strong, it is not hard to find people with bikini mark or burnt face around town. Beach volleyball is not very common here, I guess mainly because people here can surf, body-board or simply bathe in the water the while in Vancouver, the water is usually too cold!
