Busters stock up!Busters stock up!Busters stock up!

Here we are at Sydney Airport purchasing a few necessities for the journey.
Hello. Now I know a lot of people have been absolutely frantic for The Official Buster 20 Year Anniversary Tour Blog to start and I am pleased to announce that it commences now! The OB20YAT was a resounding success and, I think it is fair to say, there are some future blogs that are going to blow your mind! We travelled far and wide and hard in an attempt to bring a little of this wonderful planet's magnificent mystery into your dull little lives and we ask for no thanks! Sure, we suffered deprivations and saw things that no civilized (whatever that means!) man should see but that is a commonplace experience for a Buster. The earth may be a hard and hairy oyster shell of a variety that is extremely difficult to shuck but we are the knives sharpened to that of a cruel razor that are designed to do the shucking. So, you're welcome. You know, looking back on this crazy adventure I can't help but be reminded of Tears For Fears when they sang "It's a maaaaaad world". Right on, Mr. Orzabal, we're with you there! journey to hell and back I am going to slowly dole out titbits of excitement and danger like a crusty seaman chumming from a large bloody bucket in his hunt for Ol' Whitey - The Great White Shark. For now, though, please fasten your seatbelts for:

Got a bit lost near the jewellery store but Buster Wilson soon had us back on track for the right gate.

Found!

Discovered a great collection of quality, reasonably priced, hard wearing t-shirts for sale at this duty free outlet.
Thinking ahead.Thinking ahead.
Thinking ahead.

Buster Wilson decided to buy some US dollars in Sydney Airport thus ensuring an excellent rate of exchange.

A slightly nervous condition descended on Buster Leggett just prior to take off.
Hard at work.Hard at work.
Hard at work.

Buster Wilson checks our column in the International Herald Tribune. Bangkok is a mere 9 hours away.

Damn that digital technology
You know, the advent of the digital camera is just goiing to make this whole exercise incredibly painful.

blog time
Jesus H Christ in a sidecar. The tension is unbearable. I can't wait for the G1s to make it through customs at Bangkok in six months time - "blog time" , that is. This better be worth it. If no-one is accused of possessing a small amount of ecstasy, and no-one is arrested on suspicion of having sexual relations with underage boys, I'm applying to go back to G8 status in disgust.
