Hunter Valley wine trail
Hi everyone from Sydney
After an interesting few days in the Hunter Valley we came down to Sydney last Thursday. Friday we went for a bus / ferry trip into the city to suss out where the wedding reception was the following day. We are staying at Narabeen, north of Manly.
Saturday we were up bright and early, and drove into the city, parking in an underground carpark built for minis!! We had about 1 cm clearance height so it was nerve wracking getting 3 floors down to a park, had to take a few goes to get around some of the bends!
We collected Chris' suit from Penny, got changed, and a big group of us got a special bus to the wedding , at Beecroft. Then back by bus for the reception at the hotel in the city. We had a great time, and it was good catching up with Chris' family.
We stayed the night in the hotel, then bought Tony and Brenda back to the caravan for lunch. Sunday was very hot, up to 35 deg. We dropped them back to Manly to get the ferry back to the city.
Today Chris and I have been exploring

Hunter Valley experience
Hi Guys How many bottles of Hunter Valley wine did you have to personally taste in order to decide Aussie wine just doesn't stack up against the NZ wines??

Mike it was fun trying to find better wines than NZ has. We bought 5 in total + some olive oil + some cheese. Very restrained!
