Saturday ended up being another beautiful weekend day in Manly! We all wanted to try one of the beachside restaurants that has always looked appetizing called Zinc. So around mid-afternoon we headed that way.....our friend Jane, she works with Julia, met up with us and we had a most wonderful afternoon. The food was fantastic; pretty much all of us got a huge salad that was delicious. Our friends from Texas, Kelsey & Molly met up with us at our apartment before we headed out for a night on the town. Our first stop was of course our fave Sat. night starter, Shark Bar, gotta love the free champagne! We were all up for a change of venue afterwards, so we headed to the Manly Boatshed. This place was great! It for some reason reminded us of an American bar. They even played Sweet Home Alabama!!! Don't worry we all freaked out....geez, talk about making me homesick! We liked the Boatshed so much we stayed there all night before heading home....fun fun! We're all most excited about this upcoming weekend...we're heading to the Melbourne Cup, one of the biggest horse races in the world, fancy dresses, crazy hats & all haha.....CAN'T
