Russell and Rachel got up far too early to venture out on a Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb!! In a group of ten, lead by Matt who was lots of fun as our guide, we had an hour going through all the safety instructions and putting up ‘space age’ jumpsuits. Then it was up along the walkways and ladders to the very top of the bridge where you see the Australian flags flying. It was a wonderful morning, with the most spectacular views across the harbour. We saw four speed boats from Special Forces come right underneath us, practicing for when Mr Bush is visiting next week!
Russell with all his years of rock-climbing skills took it in his stride, but Rachel was more than a bit cold by the end! Both loved it and a certain highlight of the holiday.
