Had a totally different xmas this year! Doesn’t really feel like it still as it is sunny and hot, weird. We took a picnic (yummy Australian king prawns, avocado and salads with a nice white wine and a Christmas cake) and had it next to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. A really sunny day and an amazing view! We then went to Bondi beach in the afternoon which was totally packed and walked along the coast to Coogee beach.
Boxing Day was another beautiful day and we took a boat cruise on the harbour for the start of the Sydney-Hobart yacht race. It was really good, with loads of amazing boats and a great view of the bridge and Opera House on the way back, iconic Australia at it’s best!
We have also been on a trip to the Blue Mountains which are totally awesome. On the way we visited a wildlife park where we met some Aussie friends!! Koala’s, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, a crocodile and a snake (which I held!). We are now looking forward to New Years Eve.

It all looks great. But it puts my trip to the Cotswolds, to bring in the New Year a little out of sorts!! Love the photographs and I hope you both settle down under. Don't forget us Pom's though. Regards Mac
