08 04 2010. Woke up to blazing sunshine and decided after breakfast to catch the ferry from McMahon’s point to Darling Bay. The trip was fantastic with a great view of the Harbour and Bay for us to survey and get our bearings; we had no known plans but wanted to stroll around the area as all was new to us. Glad you are having such good weather in Sydney and enjoying it all. So very pleased the hotel was a success too. The weather here in Adelaide has been very overcast since you left with a few showers of rain which is brilliant - so thankyou Eastmen! Brian loves your photos of Sydney but feels they are not quite up to his brilliant standard and it serves you right as you should have taken him with you!
