Confirming That We Really Have Gone Mad

In three days we will be leaving for our big adventure. We have left so many wonderful things behind- our first home together, fantastic jobs, very dear friends and most beloved families. We will miss them all so very much, as well as this beautiful city where we have always had everything at our fingertips. The culmination of years of daydreaming, saving and scheming begins in three days, when we will get onto a Qantas jet and start our long-awaited world trip. If all goes to plan we will try to record some of our experiences here, with the intention of keeping in touch with absent friends, and of producing a record of our trip that we can print out and keep for a very long time.
