Me and My Mecca
I never expected to find Sarah's mum working in Thailand, but I guess she needed the extra cash. Good luck Anne! Hey Everyone! Well last time we wrote this we were still in Thailand, but now we are just completing our second week in Oz! Which means either we were so busy to write, or kinda lazy. You can decide which! So anyways, enjoy reading about our mini adventures, we have had many an amusing moment since our last entry, which hopefully you will see!
Bangkok After leaving Northern Thailand we endured our beasty bus ride from Chiang Mai down to Bangkok! As we had completely mistimed everything we only had 2 days there, but we kept ourselves busy! Whilst there though it was the Kings birthday so the whole place was pretty mental! Was cool however and we got to see royalty! Very fabulous! Apart from our brush with celebrity we did all the usual tourist type stuff of seeing temples, seeing palaces and seeing more temples and getting screwed over by tuk-tuk drivers! Oh and shopping! Diesel jeans, ten pounds! Bargain! To the gays (you know who you are!) who paid over 100, losers! Most fun was had during our last night in Bangkok where we visited the seedy side of town, Patpong, mostly to see
Sarah and Sam
Sarah considers how best to steal the food from Sam's hand a ping pong show! To anyone who doesn't know what one of them is, ask Suze! Post 'pingponging' we took our drunken states back to Koh San Road, where i thought it was a nice idea to buy a cockroach from a street vendour. Turned out it minged, shocker! And that concluded our last night in Thailand! We are totally in love with the place and defo want to head back! To anyone who hasn't been, you must visit!
Western Australia From Bangkok we made our way to Perth, where we got in during the early hours of the morning! Our first day was spent sightseeing and negotiating getting a car! Not sure why i trusted my life in Sarah's hands cos we all know how that girl drives! Surprised we didn't crash! First night we met up with friends of Loren and Coot (oz mates from thailand) to go out in Northbridge. Next day we went to Freemantle, a small port town just outisde of Perth with lots of coffe shops! (Rob you would be in heaven!) That night we went to Sam's house party (guy from night before) though bailed out at 2 and
Don't you think we've lost weight?
Don't you think we haven't lost weight? slept in our car. Yes, we are tramps! Woke the next morning sweating like beasts as the morning sun b eat down on our five layers. Our solution? Drive to the beach and sleep! Classy! Once deminged (without showering) we headed off down the coast towards Margaret River, stopping overnight at a tiny town called Bussleton (never go there!). Once arriving in Margaret River we did the only thing that could be done at that time, book ourselves onto a wine tour for the next day! Having explored the town we then ventured a bit out to go and see the caves! We ended up exploring Giants Cave, equipped with hard hats and torches and we had to do proper cave exploration, including rock climbing and fitting through tiny gaps. How Sarah's ass got through remains a mystery! The following day was our wine tour and it was great, muchos wine was drunk and we visited a chocolate factory (soaz stop salivating!)! The day was kinda blurry to be fair, and once finished we did need tactical sleeps! Upon waking the next morning (without hangovers!) we headed to the forest region of Western Australia based around a town called Pemberton.
Sydney Sunset
You don't get views like that from our hostel! Although the prostitutes do remind me of Chatham! The place was gross, full of weird people and swarming with flies! The forests around were cool though and as well as lots of beasty trees we saw a huge dam, waterfalls and crossed this dodgy rope bridge! Most excitingly though was my bravery in climbing the 61m Gloucester Tree all the way to the top! Was uber dangerous but very good fun! Once bored of forest we drove the long way back to Perth where we crashed at Sam's house for a couple of nites! Our last couple of days in Perth were spent doing a mixture of shopping, laying on the beach and waiting around for our stupid night flight to Sydney! Why the hell did we book a plane at 11.30? Error!
Sydney We got into Sydney at a ridiculous hour! 6.30 in the morning their time, but we were still on Perth time of 3.30! Hence after getting to Sydney our first port of call was bed! So far we have been in Sydney a good week and we've seen a lot, however i think I'll mostly give you the highlights rather than a day to day rundown owing to the fact that we cant even remember what we did every day and we seem to spend most our time drinking and/or hungover!
1) BNO on day 1 in Sydney! Less said about that the better! Too much wine I tells ya! I got 'banned' from a club, though they did let me in a couple of nites later! Lamos! There was also the goth! Umm. Then there was the adventures of 'qp' and 'man'. Less said about that the better.
2) David Hasselhoff! We saw the Hoff, and loads of other celebrities, though mostly Oz ones at this free carol concert by the botanical gardens! Was awesome!
3) Saw all the sights around sydney! The harbour bridge, the opera house, darling harbour, botanical gardens! Is such a beautiful place! We have done a hell of a lot of walking!
4) Today we went to a chirtsmas concert at Sydney Opera House! Very fabulous! Sarah even put on her pointy shoes!
5) We sat on Manly Beach (named after me) for the day! Prime people watching place!
6) We met up with Alix and Shelley, two friends from home who are in Sydney the exact same time as us! Spent the day drinking with them and the night at their lush apartment they were staying in with their parents. Though our hostel was equally as nice, umm.
7) Shopped. Lots.
8) Drank. Lots.
Well I think that brings me to the end of this blog! All thats left from me and Sarah is Merry Christmas and have a 'Hoffy' New Year.
Muchos Love

p.s. never mention the giant fly. VERY traumatic.

Merry Xmas Guys!
Yo Stew and Sarah Sounds like you guys are having an amazing time out there! I'm very jealous of the Oz action. Are you guys heading up to the Gold Coast after Sydney or detouring down to Melbourne? If you guys get the chance in Sydney, you should really go to the Sunday Market at the Rocks near the Bridge. Tis very cool and full of gays! (We know you love it really Sarah!) Stew - I can't believe you got Diesels for £10. I'm in discussions with the gays and we're contemplating labeling you a traitor to the "successful living" religion! LOL. Oh and is it true you chucked out of that club for a Klute like indiscression??!!!! In your own words "WOOF"! In Rob news I have a new bf who comes from somewhere in Northern Thailand, that you've probably been to. Its the third largest city or something but I can't remember the name! Anyway am off out for my sister's BD now but if I don't hear from you guys have a great Christmas Day and an amazing new year!!!! Hope to hear from you soon. Muchos Lovos Rob xxx
