DUSK OVER SYDNEY
Just caught in time before dark!MONDAY 20.5.2013
Had a lovely leisurely drive up from Shell Harbour with Kaz and Reg, it was wonderful of them to drive us up to the White Bay Cruise Terminal in Sydney, boarded the Sea Princess by about 12.00 and had lunch whilst awaiting our departure at 4.00p.m. The boat was a bit late leaving heading out at about 4.40p.m., we thought it would be dark before we got outside the heads in Sydney but were very lucky to see everything as we cruised out under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House at about 5.30p.m. Absolutely SENSATIONAL!! views, we don't go much on Sydney as a city but it is very, very pretty. Many smaller boats, ferries etc on the harbour also people walking up the harbour bridge stopped to view the huge boat below and give us a wave, I would imagine it would have been quite a site looking down on our ship as we sailed past. We have 1950 passengers on board, not all doing the world cruise, some just doing segments, like Sydney to Brisbane!! (why would you do that, I guess they gave away cheap fares as there a lot of people

Wonderful views from the ship! getting on in Brisbane, the next leg is to Dubai and the one after that is Dover in England. then New York and then LA. As usual the staff are predominantly Thai, Filipino, Balinese, with a lot of other nationalities as well. There are a few familiar faces from our cruise to New Zealand in january, the cruise director is the same and one of his assistants an English girl called Kim and a couple of musicians as well.

Sydney Harbour
The harbour is just beautiful......I stayed up all night to cruise into Sydney on the famous Fairstar at day break a few years ago...had nothing to do with the partying on the last night :) Have a fantastic time eating, drinking, dancing and relaxing....I look forward to following you cruise!!!!
