on the way to bondi
Alrighty everyone. Sorry I havent written in ages been a bit far away to any internet of any kind. Well were in Sydney now and having an amazing time. We left Canberra and drove straight up to Sydney. Although Claire’s aunt lives in central Sydney we stayed on the outskirts for a couple of days in a suburb called Ramsgate, in a caravan park, there always good fun. Driving has been really great fun till we get into the cities where all Australians obviously don’t need road signs. Also I have been cursed with the woman who cant read a map to save her life so when I’m trying to work out where were going she’s singing “Rihanna” at the top of her voice to try and help….helps a lot. Lol. We finally found our way into Sydney……I finally found our way into Sydney lol. Everyone’s 10 times our age but always really nice and very cheap. We then went up to stay with Claire’s aunt, Nicola in her apartment. She lives in darling harbour which is dead in the centre on Sydney, only a 25 minute walk to the Sydney opera house and the bridge. We’ve done quite a bit

in Sydney as we’ve been here for almost 2 weeks. Been down to the darling harbour which is really nice just to go down and chill out. We’ve been to the aquarium which had some of the biggest sharks I’d ever seen, all the Perspex glass and concave mirrors weren’t too much fun on a hang over but alls good. We’ve been down to the Sydney opera house which is very impressive, I thought the bridge looked better, lol. We’ve also been out with Nicola a couple of times with her mates which is always good, dunno how they can drink so much think I’m a bit outta touch with the alcohol since I’ve been driving. Last Friday we went to a gig of a band which Claire saw on the street, it was a really fun night and they were awesome. We also ended up meeting a Scottish bloke at the gig who lives in the same tiny village that Claire’s dad comes from, spooky. It was mine and Claire’s 1 year anniversary on the 17th so she paid for us to climb up the Sydney harbour bridge which was amazing, and rather knackering but good all the same.

After that we went on a twilight cruise on the harbour with a 3 course meal and music, the full shizz. Was wicked fun and we got our way through quite a few glasses of champagne(sparkling wine), cheers Andy. we’ve been having a wicked time in Sydney and its been great that Claire’s aunt has put us up, saved us loads of money on accommodation. Were up in the blue mountains at the mo which is about an hour drive from Sydney. We went on the zig zag railway today which is a steam train that goes up a massive mountain, driving up and down to get there was awesome fun, I bet I could give Hamilton a run for his money in Barry. BRING IT ON. Were just chilling now after our risotto in a really nice hostel. Hopefully going abseiling tomorrow but Claire’s a bit scared I cant wait!!! Hope alls good back home and missing u loads but times flying as I knew it would. Love ya loads and speak to you soon!
