Beach Bums and Surfer Boys

Su and I braved the packed, hot, bus from sydney centre out to Bondi today.
Crystal water and pearly white sand draped in towels and tanned locals greeted us. The sun was blazing but the water was lovely....ever had the Pacific ocean break on your head? strange feeling, swimming and playing in the rip tides! then heading up the beach for a sun-worship.
Its a feast of flesh up there! quite alarming. but much sunburn for my liking! watching the surfers demonstrate why Oz is so famous for its waves was great fun. but then it was back on the bus to sydney in the heat and the crowd...Sunday must be a popular day for Bondi!

Trying to gently build a tan but the weather is a bit unpredictable...I burnt in the cloud on my first day and in blazing sun at bondi i didnt even get a little bit pink!
