Dean and Kirsten are bus tour buddies.
On 8/24, we started the day by doing laundry at a laundromat. It was staffed by the owner who showed us how to use the machine and when we asked about where to put the coins he told us it was $25 for a large load. We did just one load at that price! Later we boarded a tour bus outside our hotel and saw many beautiful beaches and other sites around Sydney. We were surprised to see squawking wild cockatoos at the sandstone cliffs near The Gap. We walked along Bondi Beach. We also walked around the Sydney Opera House and took the tour bus across the Harbour Bridge to see the views from the north side of the harbor. We ended up in The Rocks munching on chocolate covered strawberries and watching the sidewalk vendors close up their shops.

We got a deal on chocolate covered strawberries at the end of the day at the market in the Rocks.
