Paul spent some time (and carrots) getting to know the local rabbit population and then we went for a trip into the countryside and had lunch at Wauchope after stocking up on fudge and chocolate in the local shop. Came back to town and went to the Sea Acres Rainforest Centre.

This old church has been moved to Timberland and is now a museum.

A 1.3 Km boardwalk through the bush.

This is described as a ‘triple layer’ strangling fig tree. It is a strangling fig strangling a strangling fig which is strangling a tree.

Is a little hard to see but in the centre is the largest staghorn fern that I have seen in a bush.
