Cheesecake
Pre-birthday cake baked for Naeshka by Kylie (it was scrumptious!!!) 30TH September 2012,
Departed the Stein's house about 12 noon (a little later than planned). It was hard saying goodbye as we were having such a great time. Kylie baked me a scrumptious baked cheesecake for my upcoming birthday. Arrived at Parkes at 4pm, just in time before they closed at 5pm. "The Dish" was amazing to see. The girls had fun exploring the wonders of the satelite. Headed off to Dubbo to spend the night and visit the zoo the following day. Onroute to Dubbo, about half an hour into the trip Daniel says, "I think I lost a wheel!"
"What do you mean you lost a wheel?" I said. Shortly after those words, we saw the tyre steadily rolling past us at 90 km, up a hill. Pulled over as safely as we could, with trailer still dragging behind. Daniel recovered the wheel about 400m up the road. Luckily no other vechicles were on the road. We assesed the damage and discovered that the six wheel studs on Taylor had snapped. We decided that we would stay the night there and make our way into Dubbo the next morning to get some new studs.
A short
"The girls"
Grace, Lily, Anais and Eve saying goodebye to Alyssa at the Stein house time later, a good samaritan, Mr Ian Lovell stopped and gave us a hand. Ian reminded us that Monday was a public holiday and we would not get any parts until Tuesday. Daniel took two studs off the spare and two studs off the left wheel. This gave us four studs on each wheel to get us moving again. Two hours later, with Ian's trolley jack and some hand tools, we got Taylor on her sexy wheels again. Special thanks to Mr Ian Lovell for all your help.
Took a slow drive and got to Dubbo by about 10pm for a long awaited snooze at the Terrmungamine Reserev (all the hotels, motels and caravan parks were fully booked for the October long weekend).

Hi guys, really enjoying reading all about your travels. Kangaroo Valley looks spectacular and I had a little chuckle at the thought of your tyre rolling down the hill. Hope Alyssa had a wonderful birthday and happy birthday Colleen for tomorrow I think. Miss our chats but I am so envious looking at your carefree existence. Daniel has given up shaving lol.
