Congratulations to one of our dear friends Matron Karen Barber, officially Matron for Neonates and Paediatrics at Good Hope and Heartlands Hospital.

Well done Karen, sorry we cannot be with you to celebrate, but we will have a drink on your behalf.

A very well deserved promotion for someone so dedicated to their profession.

Back in the November of 2008, we embarked on an adventure that would take us out of everything that we were so familiar with, a comfortable life in the UK, friends, family and the English countryside.
