I completed the MS Gong Ride from Sydney to Wollongong in November 2019, although I was quite unwell at the time. One week later I checked myself into Hospital, and was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, with a tumour the size of a large mango in my lower back. After six months of intense chemotherapy, CT Scans showed the chemotherapy had eliminated the cancer from my body. Two years later I remain in remission, despite my Oncologist advising that only 10% of patients with my type of Lymphoma make it to two years post chemo without relapsing. Nothing short of a miracle. We are grateful for the many prayers offered on our behalf.

Kim and I commenced our Big Lap from our home town of Wellington NSW, where we both grew up and met as teenagers. We have resigned from our jobs and have purchased a towing vehicle and caravan, and are setting out to see the Great South Land.
